My Daughter courtney Faye-louise, what happened was... i gave birth to her on 28th march at 7:27am, weighting 6lbs 1oz it was a long day courtney her dad and i was transfered up stairs to the ward everything was fine all day we had visitors etc she was feeding ok etc i came to about 7:30pm i asked if i could go home as courtney and i was fine about 9:00pm the night nurse came to us and check courtney over she said we couldn't because courtney has not been to the toilet at all so we sat about then at 9:15 i checked courtney's nappy and she had been to the loooo so the nusre discharged at 9:28pm, we got home and ate dinner whilst courtney was cuddling her grandad then we got her ready for bed etc, courtney her dad and i went to bed courtney had a cuddle from both of us then we layed her in her moses basket she fell straight asleep she wake up 5 times that night. the next morning we wake up i was holding her then she kept crying so daddy wanted a cuddle but she kept on crying the cry was getting louder so i take her back to see if she wanted breast feeding and she did i started feeding her she sucked a few times then she stop i t4 she was going to sleep so i left her then when i took her off her lips was blue, i put my head to her chest i heard 1 beat then a beat about 5 seconds after, so i called 999 my boyfriend was doing ressursation she was so floppy i was holding her. her dad was shouting at me telling me to lay her on back so we run down stairs then listened to her heart beat aging there was nothing i was heavy crying 8 long minutes the ambulance turned up and took her into the ambulance they was in there for 10 minutes trying to bring her back but they don't have the full equipment or something can't remember. then they took her to east surrey hospital on blue lights we followed in a another ambulance we got to hospital and she was in resurration tubes wires nurse all around the bed we couldn't even see her we started making phone calls to parents and ever since then the machine was breathing for her we was transfered to brighton hospital for a life support machine as she could;nt breathe on her own they was doing loads of blood test mri scan etc after 5 long days in intensive care they told us we wasn't leaving with her we got her christened then we turned her machine off:(:(:(:(:( she went yellow so quickly we bathed her, dressed her and left her in her bed to be taken down to have post mortal she was in freezing for about a week.had her post mortal then she was taken to funeralcare. we got a phone call saying she was there we can get some clothes for her and dress her if we wanted too i really wanted too see her again, when we walked in the smell killed me . we was taken into the little room and her body was behind me i couldn't turn around her dad was describing to me what she looked like as she had a cut right down her chest and around the back of her head.i could'nt stop crying i touched her she was freezing we got her dressed so carefully i was scared i break something she was so thin and floppy then it was time to go home as they was closed the lady said too us you can take her home if you want i wanted too one last time we got her ready in moses basket then headed home we had her for 2 days 1 night i was horrible because i could'nt stop going in their and holding,talking kissing her then the funeral that was the most horrible thing ever her coffin was so small they bring the coffin upstairs i touched her face then they left us 3 alone for couple of minutes my b/f called them back ing as it was too hard they came in and put her her coffin . i hated being in the black cars as we drove so slow and i hated every minute anyways we had a inquest for the results of post mortal they don't know why she stopped breathing but they know what killed her her brain cells was dead due to no oxygen to the brain take care x hayley 17 surrey
